• Documents you send us to forward to a Partner Firm: for example, identification documents or financial paperwork, where you choose to send these to us for onward transmission rather than directly to the Partner Firm.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and cookies (see Section 8).
• Communications: records of emails, form submissions, or calls between you and us.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, more sensitive financial or identity documents than necessary for the purpose of the introduction – full engagement-related document exchange should happen directly with your matched Partner Firm wherever possible.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data to:

• Understand your accounting needs and match you with a suitable Partner Firm;
• Introduce you to a Partner Firm and facilitate that introduction, including passing on relevant details or documents you have asked us to forward;
• Communicate with you about your request, our service, or any updates;

• Send you marketing communications, where you have consented to this (see Section 6).

4. Our Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data on the following legal bases:

• Performance of a contract: to provide our matching and coordination service to you.

5.1. To provide our matching service, we share relevant personal data and, where applicable, documents you have provided, with the Partner Firm we match you with.

5.2. Once your data is shared with a Partner Firm for the purpose of their direct engagement with you, that Partner Firm acts as an independent data controller for the personal data they hold and process about you. Their own privacy policy will govern how they handle your data from that point onward, and we recommend you review it.

5.3. We are not responsible for a Partner Firm’s data handling practices once your data has been passed to them, though we take reasonable care to only work with Partner Firms who represent themselves as operating in compliance with UK GDPR.

5.4. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

6. Marketing Communications

We will only send you marketing communications if you have opted in to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email or by contacting us directly.
